Baseboard install: $8–$15 per linear foot
Standard 5" pre-primed pine baseboard, installed, caulked, ready for paint. Includes material and labor for most jobs. Stained-grade lumber adds a small premium; hardwood (oak, walnut) costs more.
Crown molding install: $12–$22 per linear foot
Crown is pricier than baseboard because of compound miter cuts at every corner. A 12'×14' room has ~52 linear feet — $625–$1,150 installed. Stained crown costs more than primed.
Custom shelf install: $150–$400 per shelf
Built-in floating shelf or bracket-mount shelf in a closet, office, or accent wall. Includes locating studs, drilling, mounting, leveling. Heavier shelves require lag bolts into studs.
Stair handrail repair: $200–$500
Wobbly handrail tightening, replacing a damaged section, full handrail re-mounting with lag bolts. Code requires handrails withstand 200 lbs lateral force — we anchor accordingly.
Cabinet hardware swap (per cabinet): $25–$55
Swapping kitchen or bathroom pulls and knobs. Includes locating new mounting points if hole spacing differs. Most kitchens have 20–30 cabinets — budget $500–$1,500 for the whole kitchen.
Cabinet door and drawer repair: Quote on site
Sticking drawers, sagging doors, broken hinges, soft-close mechanism failures — all repairable for less than replacement cost. We carry standard hinges and drawer runners on the truck.
