Standard like-for-like swap: $275–$425
Disconnect water supply, drain and remove old toilet, replace wax ring, install new toilet, connect supply line, test for leaks, clean up. Most jobs are in this band when the floor is sound and the closet flange is intact.
Upgrades that bump the price: $425–$600
Comfort-height toilets, dual-flush, soft-close seats, smart bidet seat install, or if we need to swap out the closet flange or fix soft subfloor around the base. Bidet seat plumbing add-ons are an extra $50–$100.
Issues we sometimes find under the toilet
- Rocking toilet: the closet flange is broken or below the floor — needs a flange repair or shim ($50–$150 add).
- Soft floor around the base: long-term leak has rotted the subfloor. We can't reseat over rot — needs floor work first.
- Old galvanized supply line: we swap to a braided stainless line as a matter of course ($15 part).
What you supply vs. what we supply
Usually you buy the toilet (lets you pick the model you want) and we install it. We bring wax ring, supply line, bolts, caulk, and tools. Tell us when you book whether you want us to source a toilet — we can pick up from Home Depot or Lowe's for an added fee.
