Small patches: $95–$150
Nail holes, anchor pullouts, doorknob dings under 2" — fast patch work. We backer the hole if needed, fill with two coats of compound, sand flush, prime, and paint-match. Typically a 1-hour service call.
Medium patches: $150–$250
Doorknob holes, two-to-three small holes in a room, smaller post-leak patches up to 6" wide. Includes a small drywall insert, taping, mudding, and three coats. Usually 1.5–2 hours.
Large repairs and ceilings: $275–$600
Anything over 12" wide or any ceiling hole. Ceilings require working overhead — slower and more careful. Includes cutting back to studs/joists, blocking, drywall insert, three coats of mud, sanding, prime, paint blend.
Add-ons that affect price
- Texture matching: +$50–$150 per area. Orange peel, knockdown, and skim-smooth all take different techniques.
- Full-wall repaint: +$200–$400 per wall when spot-painting won't blend on sun-faded surfaces.
- Popcorn ceiling work: $400–$900 per room for scraping and reskim.
- Plaster (not drywall): +20–40% — plaster needs different techniques than modern drywall.
