Standard bathroom faucet swap: $175–$275
Most bathroom faucets are straightforward — shut off the angle stops, disconnect the supply lines, remove the old faucet from under the sink, install the new one with fresh supply lines, test for leaks. Usually 60–90 minutes.
Kitchen faucet swap: $200–$350
Kitchen faucets are larger, often heavier, and the under-sink space is tight. Pull-down sprayers and high-arc designs take a few extra minutes to align. Sometimes the sink hole spacing doesn't match the new faucet — we add or cover the extra holes.
Shut-off valve replacement: +$75–$150 each
Old multi-turn shutoffs often fail to close completely or start leaking when re-opened. If we find this, the right fix is to replace the angle stop while we're there. Quarter-turn replacements are quick and prevent surprise leaks later.
What to buy
Brand matters less than valve type. For bathrooms, look for ceramic-disc cartridges (most major brands now). For kitchens, look for a faucet with a separate cartridge that you can replace later without swapping the whole fixture. Big-box stores have the same quality as plumbing supply houses at lower prices.
